Weed Action is a community group that aims to keep our beautiful Piroa-Brynderwyns area weed free. To succeed at this weeds are viewed from a landscape level in a three part approach. First, existing weeds are cleared from the Piroa-Brynderwyn ranges, secondly public awareness is raised about invasive weeds in our area and thirdly, we offer support to those trying to clear weeds from their properties.
We need your help in our war against weeds! You can do this by keeping your back yards weed free. Most of our most concerning weeds to our environment are back yard escapees!

- Weed Action encompasses communities directly surrounding Piroa-Brynderwyn ranges area from Waipu, Waipu Cove, Langs Beach, Mangawhai, and the southern side of the Brynderwyns to Baldrock Road.
- You have come to the right place to learn about weeds. The most important place to start is to identify the weeds. 
- We are able to offer free advice for identifying weeds and can advise on how to control these weeds.
